This sheet of neoprene (commercial grade) has a durometer of Shore 60A and is ideal for a host of uses. These sheets are offered in 14 sizes: 1” x 1”, 2” x 2”, 3” x 3”, 4” x 4”, 5” x 5”, 6” x 6”, 8” x 8”, 10” x 10”, 12” x 12”, 8” x 16”, 6” x 36”, 12” x 36”, 24” x 36”, and 36” x 36”. And they come in 2 different shapes: rectangle or square. Neoprene is a type of synthetic elastomer, and it is known for its balanced combination of useful traits. These traits include weather-resistance, heat-resistance, oil-resistance, and gas-resistance. And because neoprene is a type of rubber, it is elastic, has a high tensile strength, and features a low compression set. Altogether, this balance of neoprene properties makes for a highly versatile material that is capable of withstanding a plethora of conditions. For example, neoprene sheets are the basic materials used in automotive seals and gaskets. Offered in a sleek, black color, this neoprene sheeting effortlessly blends into any visual environment. With multiple sizing options available, this black neoprene rubber accommodates most applications. Furthermore, because cutting neoprene can be done yourself, custom-cut neoprene rolls are not difficult to obtain.
