Its advanced viscoelastic properties ensure excellent adhesion to both high- and low-surface-energy materials, making it suitable for many industrial and household applications. Not recommended for heavily textured surfaces or painted walls, as paint may peel or be damaged during removal.
- AUTOMOTIVE & MULTI-PURPOSE USE: 5925 two sided adhesive tape is designed for automotive applications, securely bonding body side moldings, wheel arch extensions, and primary or secondary door seals for a clean, lasting hold with dependable strength for moderate to heavy mounting; it’s also widely used for LED strip lights, signs, emblems, holders, mailboxes, power strips, and home, office, construction, signage, electronics and other automotive projects.
- PRODUCT FEATURES: This double sided tape features a pressure sensitive adhesive, designed for secure attachment of automotive exterior trim, including claddings, roof ditch moldings, and wheel flares. Its high conformability and strong, low elongation core provide a precise fit and clean, professional bond line appearance. Built for durability, it resists both cold and hot temperature impacts and allows fast, hassle-free installation, delivering peel adhesion up to 20 lb/in and shear strength up to 90 lb/sq in on stainless steel.
- USER GUIDELINES: For best bonding results, clean surfaces thoroughly using a 50:50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water or adhesion promoter to remove dirt, oil, and residue. Apply the tape when temperatures are between 70°F and 100°F (21°C–38°C) and allow up to 72 hours for the bond to fully cure. Do not apply to surfaces below 50°F (10°C), as low temperatures may reduce adhesion performance.
